Identifying Programs that Match Your Interests
The Peterson's Guide to Graduate School and Professional Programs Lists degree-granting institutions by areas of interests and contains the information needed to request program information and application materials.
Graduate School Information  Lists over 36,000 national and international graduate programs by subject area: easy to use format. Features links to the homepages of universities from across the United States. Recipient of many awards.
The Ohio State University The application process at OSU is a decentralized one, in which students apply to both the Admission Office and to the department they wish to attend.

For specific program requirement, contact the particular unit to which admission is sought. Information about the various OSU graduate and professional programs can be found at the Graduate School web site

Financial Aid
FastWeb This database provides information about 18,000 plus scholarships, grants, fellowships, and loans representing billions of private sector funding for college students living in the Unites States.
Finaid This site contains a comprehensive annotated collection of information about student financial aid on the web.
College Scholarships A monthly posting of scholarship information
Admission Tests
Each test vendor provides free handbooks containing sample tests and basic testing strategies to all who register to take admission tests. Free practice tests are also available at their web sites.
GRE Graduate Records Examinations. 
LSAT The Law School Admission Test.
GMAT The test used in the selection process for graduate study in business is the Graduate Management Admission TestŪ 
MCAT The test used in the selection process for Med School is The Medical College Admission Test.
Test Preparation Software for the GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GMAT and others can be downloaded for a cost.
Another option when preparing for an admission test is to take the commercial test review course if you can afford the fee. The largest vendors are Kaplan and Princeton Review.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) International Applicants are required to submit TOEFL scores to demonstrate their English proficiency.

The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is a nonprofit corporation whose members are more than 200 law schools in the United States and Canada. All law schools approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) are LSAC members. Fifteen Canadian law schools recognized by a provincial or territorial law society or government agency are also included in the voting membership of the Council.
