Located adjacent to the Career Connection reception desk on the 2nd floor of the Younkin Success Center.  To use the materials, please check in with the Career Connection Office.

Career Exploration:

Career Self-Assessment and Career Information.  Books and magazines on careers or majors and standard career reference resources, career trends and outlook!

Job Search:

Books and articles on resume writing, cover letters, interviewing, job search strategies and use of the internet.  Books listing company address and profiles, Job Postings (small amount) notebook, as well as career newsletters from the College of Arts & Sciences and the Fisher College of Business.

Training Opportunities:

Current Peterson's Guides for Two Year, Technical, Four Year, and Graduate Programs.  Chronicle College Data books for Two Year, Four Year, and Vocational Schools.  Books and pamphlets listing internships, scholarships, fellowships, training abroad, cooperative education, grants, and financial aid.

Personal Growth:

Handouts on test-taking, study tips, note-taking, and time management.  Books and audio tapes on anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, relationships (various lifestyles), dysfunctional family and co-dependency issues, parenting information to supplement the counseling process.

Special Populations:

Magazines and books addressing special needs relating to gender, ethnicity, race, and physical differences.

Additional Information:

Our library materials are fairly current owing to an endowment from the late Alice Nissen.
