Do you wonder how to make the transition into an industry career? Join us for a panel and small group discussion with professionals from various fields about exploring careers in industry, marketing the skills you gain in graduate school, and other job search tips. Calling all graduate students! Are you interesting in learning what specific qualities you have to offer employers? Have you considered pursuing a path that is different from what you originally anticipated? If so, check out this unique group, led by Stacie Stormer, from Career Connection. The focus of the group will be on self-assessment and career exploration, and not job search strategies.

Women's Career Empowerment Group ~ Wi 2010 Wednesdays Jan. 20-Feb. 17, 9:00-10:30am, 211 Younkin Success Center Female graduate students, this group will give you a chance to discuss the unique obstacles experienced by women in the workplace and during the job search. You'll use assessments to discover your strengths and use them to design a personal brand and mission statement, as well as prepare a personalized action plan to achieve your career goals.
